Why I Created Little Soul Reader

Little Soul Reader began with one simple belief:

Stories can help children notice, think, discover and grow.

Years ago, while recovering from back surgery, I began writing children's stories that explored kindness, confidence and everyday choices.

My first book, Saving Water, was published in 2009. While it found its readers, life eventually took me in a different direction and writing quietly took a back seat.

Years later, those stories found their way back into my life.

Today, Little Soul Reader combines engaging picture books with ready-to-use activities to help children, educators and families start meaningful conversations through stories.

Every book and activity has been created with the hope of inspiring curiosity, confidence and small everyday actions that can make a positive difference. So now, the lesson doesn't end when the story does.
